instructions

Connect the top player to the bottom player using as few players in between as possible. Each link must be an identified pass target, in either direction. Identified incompletions count; interceptions do not.

Choose a player from the matching names, then press Link. Verified players move into your chain. When your newest player connects to the destination, the final link is completed automatically.

Your score is the number of players added between the two endpoints. Invalid guesses are rejected without a penalty. Use each player once. The optimal count stays visible while you play. Each puzzle has a shortest route of two or three links.

Easy: every available player is in the top third at their position by passing-target involvement. Only QB, WR, TE, and RB are included.

Hard: players are in the top 75% at their position. At least one endpoint is in the top third. Rankings use the eligible player pool.

Current limits every player in your chain to those present in the latest season’s archive. All four combinations have their own daily pair and saved progress.

Uses the 1999-onward archive, including playoffs. The latest season is partial. Progress is saved in this browser. The results chart counts completed games in the same daily mode.
